Pariah

Services

Ear, lip, nose, facial, and body. Consultation first — jewellery chosen for the placement.

Our Approach

Consultation first.
Always.

No needle is touched before we understand you. Every appointment begins with a consultation — anatomy assessed, goals discussed, jewellery chosen with care. We pierce ear, lip, nose, facial, and body. Initial jewellery is ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium: a labret (post and end), barbell, circular barbell, or captive bead ring, as the placement requires. We will always be honest if a placement is not right for you.

Jewellery follows the placement: decorative ends sit on a labret post; navel, nipple, and eyebrow typically take a barbell; septum is often a circular barbell, captive bead ring, or clicker. Email us to enquire for pricing — nothing is quoted from a photo alone.

Ear Piercing

8 placements

Lobe through industrial — composed as a set, not a scatter. Most ear placements take a labret: a post and a decorative end. Daith often a captive bead ring or circular barbell; rook a curved barbell; industrial a straight barbell.

Nose Piercing

2 placements

Nostril typically a labret post and end. Septum is often a circular barbell, captive bead ring, or clicker — chosen for anatomy, not a photo.

Lip Piercing

By anatomy

Lip and labret placements use a flat-back labret — post and end. Side, centre, and vertical are decided with your anatomy, not a catalogue pose.

Lip

Lip / Labret

Consultation and titanium labret — flat-back post and end. Side, centre, and vertical placements by anatomy.

Facial Piercing

1 placement

Eyebrow typically takes a curved barbell. Placement is mapped for how it will sit, heal, and wear — not how it photographs today.

Body Piercing

3 placements

Navel typically a curved barbell; nipple a straight barbell; surface a surface barbell when anatomy allows. Each placement is assessed before anything is marked.

Before You Book

Important Information

A few things worth knowing before you arrive. More detail is available on our FAQ page, or reach us directly.

  • Clients aged 18 and over may book any piercing independently.
  • Clients aged 16–17 may receive earlobe piercings only, with a parent or legal guardian present, written consent, and photo ID for both.
  • We do not pierce anyone under 16.
  • Cartilage, lip, nose, facial, and body placements are 18 and over.
  • Valid photo ID is required for all clients at the time of appointment.
  • Accepted forms: passport, Australian driver's licence (full or provisional), national ID card.
  • For clients aged 16–17, a parent or guardian must also present their own valid photo ID.
  • If ID cannot be presented on the day, we may need to reschedule and the deposit will be forfeited.
  • Eat a full meal within two hours of your appointment — low blood sugar makes the experience harder than it needs to be.
  • Stay well hydrated on the day.
  • Wear comfortable, accessible clothing for the area being pierced.
  • Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours beforehand.
  • Avoid aspirin or ibuprofen on the day — both can increase bleeding.
  • Please arrive on time. We will always do our best to accommodate you, but late arrivals may need to reschedule.
  • Every appointment begins with a consultation — included in your appointment time.
  • We will mark the placement and ask for your approval before proceeding.
  • The piercing itself is typically very quick — most clients are surprised.
  • Some sensation, warmth, or brief discomfort during and immediately after is entirely normal.
  • Full written aftercare guidance is provided before you leave.
  • Questions are always welcome — during your visit or afterwards.
  • We recommend a maximum of three new piercings per session for first-time clients.
  • For clients with good healing histories, up to four placements may be possible — discuss this when booking.
  • Our Curated Ear Design service is designed specifically for multi-piercing sessions.
  • Healing multiple piercings simultaneously takes more commitment. We will always advise honestly on what makes sense for you.
  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure piercing appointments once we confirm, credited against the balance on the day.
  • Cancellations with more than 48 hours notice may be transferred to a new date, once.
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice forfeit the deposit.
  • If you need to reschedule, please reach out as early as possible — we always appreciate the notice.

A note on contraindications

Certain conditions, medications, or circumstances may affect your suitability for piercing. If you have any concerns — including pregnancy, blood conditions, skin conditions, or a tendency to keloid — please reach out before booking. We will always advise honestly and, where it makes sense, suggest you speak with your GP first.
